2. Application form are distributed to the students as per their
interest and demand.
3. The cost of application form is Rs. 10/-
4. After the collection of application forms and the selection is made.
6. In this academic year, 250 application forms were received out of
which 200 students were selected. The priority was given to the students who
already completed one year in the N.S.S. as they would be eligible for getting
certificate from the University of Pune and also get 5 marks in the University
Examination as per the ordinance 163 of University of Pune.
3) Grant:
University sanctions grant of Rs. 210/- per student for regular
activities. Advance grant of Rs. 29,400/- was received.
4) Guest Lectures:
The prime duty and responsibility of all the committee members is to develope the
sense of moral and social responsibilities in the mind of the students through
discussion regular N.S.S. activities.
we also orgnize guest lecture of eminent personalities and social
workers for the students. A guest lecture of Shri Suresh Sakhawalkar, Social
worker and editor of weekly 'Amber' was arranged on occasion of N.S.S. day on
24th Sept. 2011.
He exposed this thoughts inorder to create the social awareness among
the students. Dr. V.R. khandare, N.S.S. programme Officer, convinced the
students of the importance of N.S.S. in their life and future higher education .
Students also expressed their views about the guest lecture and also about the
utilization of N.S.S. activities in life.
5) Regular activities:
As per the guideline of N.S.S. Deptt. University of Pune, N.S.S.
activities are divided into two parts.
(a) Regular activities :

Regular activities are at the root of N.S.S. goals and objectives which
inculcates the value and core element among ths such as:
1. Patriotism.
2. Social Awareness.
3. Cleanliness
4. Scientific Temper
5. Removal of Social barrier etc.

The regular activity of N.S.S. help the students to develop
the value like co-operation, truth, social responsibility, social, cultural,
economic and environmental realities at the local , national and universal
levels.
The seeds of these values sown in the early stage of education mostly
aimed at co-operation and mutual understanding . In the 1st term of this
academic year , regular activities were carried out on the following days.
